Sources say that Mary J. Blige is searching for America's next big singing sensation. Mary along with the producers of American Idol will search the net looking for amateur songbirds for a new reality show "Opening Act". It sounds very similar to various other "singing sensation"
reality shows. Cameras will follow the three as they take amateur
musicians and put them through the wringer to make them stage ready.
The show will allow each contestant an opportunity of a lifetime to
open up for a major artist that on tour. It's rumored that so far LMFAO, Nicki Minaj, Jason Maraz and Gym Class Heroes
have agreed to let an unknown act open up for them.
The show "Opening Act" is set to premiere July 9th on E!
