Well it appears that Kobe and Vanessa are officially calling it quits!! Sources close to the couple(per TMZ) claims the reality show "Basketball Wives" is at the root of the drama. Supposedly a few of the other wives (and their friends) had quite a bit of "insight" on Vanessa's husbands extra marital dealings,which somehow found its way back to Vanessa in which she ultimately...finally...after TEN LOOOOOOOONG years of marriage is calling it QUITS:(

Gary Indiana native Freddie "Gangsta Gibbs" Gibbs signs with CTE (Jeezy)
Rumor had it weeks prior to the Chicago performance at the Bottom Lounge on Apr 9th that XXL Freshman "Gangsta Gibbs" had supposedly signed to fellow artist Young Jeezys own label CTE....I had heard the rumor maybe a week or so ago myself and then a close friend of Gibbs informed me that it was more than a rumor. The night of the show Jeezy himself clarified things for us all. Jeezy appeared onstage after Freddie Gibbs performance to officially welcome him in front of his fans to the CTE label! complete with the passing of the diamond filled CTE chain. The crowd errupted with joy for Freddie. The smile on Feddie's face was priceless if I don't say so myself. It was a beautiful thing to experience first hand another well deserved artist receive his "wings". Congratulations Freddie..and although you don't hang with "no BouJee ass b!tches" we still love you because we still love HIP HOP and that my friend... is what you are:)
Kim Kardashian sporting a new braided look...I LIKE!!!!
Kim's new braided look is primarily for the video for her new single featuring Chicago's own "Super Artist" Kanye West but I say it fits her in general. Kim has an edge about her that allows her to pull a look like this off without too much flack from the haters. I absolutely love it on her! KK difintitely gets a "BouJee!!!" for this one.
