YES... THE REAL "KANYE" TOOK THE STAGE AT                CHANCE the RAPPER'S CONCERT TODAY

Kanye fooled us all when he appeared at Chance the Rapper‘s Magnificent Coloring Day outdoor concert in Chicago today. Although brief but entertaining nonetheless the infamous Ye himself took the stage for a set that included some of my Kanye faves like  “Gold Digger”, “Can’t Tell Me Nothin” and “All Day”...he also performed “Black Skinhead”, “Father Stretch My Hands, and “All Falls Down”. During the last performance of the set Yeezy was joined by Lil Chano and even went into the crowd at one point while the stadium filled with 44,000 fans chimed in w/Chance to his verse on the song...it was EPIC to say the least. Salute to Chicago artists, they're amazing when they come together. All Love!!

Beyonce's Chicago Formation Concert goes off without a hitch....even in the rain.

Last night Beyoncé's Formation World Tour finished a two-night stop in Chicago. And among the long list of attendees such as her husband Jay Z, Chicago rapper Vic Mensa and Rae Sremmurd was also her former Dreamgirls co-star Jennifer Hudson. Much respect to the Queen Bey for paying Homage to Chicago's very own J- Hudd. Salud!! 

Gary Indiana native Freddie "Gangsta Gibbs" Gibbs signs with CTE (Jeezy)

Rumor had it weeks prior to the Chicago performance at the Bottom Lounge on Apr 9th that XXL Freshman "Gangsta Gibbs" had supposedly signed to fellow artist Young Jeezys own label CTE....I had heard the rumor maybe a week or so ago myself and then a close friend of Gibbs informed me that it was more than a rumor. The night of the show Jeezy himself clarified things for us all. Jeezy appeared onstage after Freddie Gibbs performance to officially welcome him in front of his fans to the CTE label! complete with the passing of the diamond filled CTE chain. The crowd errupted with joy for Freddie. The smile on Feddie's face was priceless if I don't say so myself. It was a beautiful thing to experience first hand another well deserved artist receive his "wings". Congratulations Freddie..and although you don't hang with "no BouJee ass b!tches" we still love you because we still love HIP HOP and that my friend... is what you are:)
